Apparently, I bullied and harassed another Facebook user with my comment.
My account has been restricted for 7 days. Facebook continually makes these allegations despite me not breaking any community standards!
I was creating a secondary Facebook account to see if my posts or comments were not visible to other people due to censoring, but the account was automatically censored from the start after creation
If you are required ID for fakebook verification, you would think Voting could require the same.!
I was given a 30-day ban from Facebook for replying to a post that stated if Americans didn't vote the country would turn into socialism. I merely posted in response.... lazy Americans. Get off your asses.
We got exactly the same email you guys got about the trademark infringement. (we registrered a domain name with facebook shopping in it). Do you have a reply to the email you responded with? Would love to see if this is a scam or not.

No I haven't heard a peep from them since my reply. But it was right about the beginning of the Covid craze and they had sent all their employees home. I've heard nothing since and I'm somewhat disappointed I'm looking forward to it LOL
Hey, I can confirm that this is not a scam, though it very much looks like one. They didn't respond at first, you must send them a separate email with your domain name in the subject. If you do, they will pass you over to a vendor called Appdetex, which specializes in brand protection online. There is almost no mention of Facebook's partnership with Appdetex available from any reliable source, guess you just have to take their word for it. I didn't, so I checked in with my friends who work at Facebook to verify whether all of this is legit and it turns out it actually is.
So conclusion: Not a scam, just shamefully unprofessional.
Yep ... I can confirm this as well. I know all about Appdetex. The Facebook department that sent the email is run by a Margie Milam. She's a lawyer licensed in California and Idaho. Her husband is Ben Milam, also a lawyer licensed in California and Idaho, and he is EVP and general counsel for Appdetex. Convenient huh? Appdetex has some proprietary software or something that sends WHOIS requests by the thousands. I had only registered this domain, had not uploaded anything at all and I got that email just 11 days after registering. And I STILL haven't heard back from them LOL
